Citizens! - True Romance
A band from London, signed to Kitsuné, produced by Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand; sounds promising? Their debut album, Here We Are, is coming out on the 28th of May and their songs are so dance-able.

The National - The Rains of Castamere.
New music via Stereogum. There are two things I really dig: The National and Game of Thrones. Now I have the best of both worlds. #indienerd #ihopethisisjoffreysfuneralsongthatdick
Lana Del Rey - Video Games
A friend said she can’t get this song out of her head, another friend is addicted to her Born To Die video. I was reluctant to check her out at first because of the overhype, also I thought at first this song was a tad boring. But the more I listen to it, the more I can get to her whole image. And for me that image is epic love, passion, rebel and obviously sexy. It also has that Bonnie & Clyde feel to it.

You and I - Richard Hawley & The Death Ramps
Put your headphones on, crank that volume up, press play and bask in the glory of this b-side. This band dumbfounds me. Goddamn.

Honorable mentions:
The Morning Benders - Excuses
Awesome!!!

Arctic Monkeys - Chun Li’s Spinning Bird Kick
I’m not much of an instrumental music fan. What I do like are interludes or intermissions slipped in the middle of an album by a band that mainly makes songs with lyrics. Or in Arctic Monkey’s case, the intrumental track makes a b-side of a single. What I like about this track is that it sounds like one of their song that Alex hasn’t written lyrics for yet. Which makes it very interesting to hear because it gives you that ‘raw’ feel of their music.
