DSWDWY ends with “Broken Arms” a sorrowful, ballad of loss and broken hope with a simple guitar and minimal synth backing. Though not my favourite track by far, my loss, it is emotionally charged and simply shows the skilled musicians and songwriters that Does It Offend You Yeah? are
The Naked and Famous - Punching in a Dream (Does It Offend You, Yeah? Remix)
I don’t usually like remixes, but Does It Offend You, Yeah? is one of the few rock-electro band that I like and The Naked and Famous is a band that I’m currently into. A mix of those two is obviously an exception, and it’s not so bad either.
Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You is coming out on March 14
It is the follow-up to their 2008 debut to You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into.
The new album, out on March 14, will be the band’s first since guitarist/singer Morgan Quaintance left the band to concentrate on other musical projects.
The tracklisting of Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You is:
‘We Are The Dead’ ‘John Hurt’ ‘Pull Out My Insides’ ‘Yeah’ ‘The Monkeys Are Coming’ ‘Wrong Time Wrong Planet’ ‘Wrestler’ ‘Wondering’ ‘The Knife’ ‘Broken Arms’
You can check out some of their tracks linked above on soundcloud. It sounded awesome, I can’t wait for the album to come out.
Being Bad Feels Pretty Good - Does It Offend You, Yeah?
I don’t drink straight from a can anymore. Bottles are preferable, and even if there’s no other choice, I’d drink it with a straw or pour it on to a container. I’d rather stay thirsty than drink from a can. I’m not trying to sound like a sanitary freak, and It’s not like I’m traumatized or ever had a bad experience with a canned beverage. Remember that times when there’s all sorts of rumour about rats urine on those cans or whatever, I guess those story stuck to my subconscious mind more. I know it’s just myths, but I’m not risking any chance.
