handclapmovement:

In Foster the People’s new clip for “Houdini”, the band tragically gets trampled by their stage and die within the first 10 seconds. Their shady record label won’t stand by this though, and make the band into marionettes, who develop some pretty stellar boy-band eqsue choreographed dance moves. How else are they going to finish their video shoot, and make it over to the El Rey for a sold out gig?

I’m glad that with all the success the band has achieved over the last year, they have never lost their dark humor and insanely creative ideas for music videos.

handclapmovement:

The moral of Foster the People’s new video for “Don’t Stop” (Colors On The Walls) is that you should never ever let Gabourey Sidibe drive a car. She’ll cause thousands in damage and make you fall in love with her. The Cali boys cap off their brilliant 2011 with these highly entertaining visuals.

Foster The People - “Don’t Stop (Colors On The Walls)”

They’re very amusing, these boys. It’d be nice if I could just hang out together with them.

Foster the People - Machu Picchu (The Strokes Cover)

As much as I like it, I feel that it’s lacking a little ‘oomph’ which I can’t really describe. I guess I just really really love Valensi’s riff.

Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks (Acoustic version)

The first time I posted this song was in March. Back then they haven’t even had an album. 5 months later and this song is still very popular, even heard as soundtracks or background music for blockbuster movies and TV series. So much success in less than a year. I really hope they could stick around long enough for years to come and not just be some kind of one-hit-wonder.

Foster The Poeple - Waste

And everyday that you want to waste, that you want to waste, you can.”

Every song in this album has a potential to be an earworm.
